In spite of its rather medieval appearance, it is a water tower, built in 1957. It was built in the place of a beech tree which was struck by lightning in 1946. That tree had been planted at the end of the 18th century to mark the site of an old feudal castle. with a view over the valley beyond.

Sense? You come here and talk about sense?
